Halfway to freedom…

If you could turn the clock back,  would you change anything?

If you could turn the clock back, would you change anything?

images (6)Sometimes time passes so slowly.

I will not complain though.

I refuse to complain.

If you do the crime, you must do the time.

Even if the crime was an accident.

60 odd years, lost in less than 60 odd seconds.

I will not complain.

Because what’s one year spent in the comfort of home,

compared to the hopes and dreams that were lost forever?

  3. Another way of looking at “regrets” is to think of them as learning experiences and opportunities to grow. We all have them…it’s what we do with them that counts. Toni, I find your poetry very deep and profound…it hurts, yet it gives a glimmer of hope. Thanks for visiting and following my blog because it led me to yours.
